Near the beginning of the week, court documents released to the public revealed that Tyrese Gibson, the Fast And The Furious alum, has had trouble sustaining his acting career following his public child custody battle, in addition to his social media outbursts.
Fans of the actor will remember when he started to cry on Instagram, and also feuded publicly with Dwayne Johnson, who didn’t even take the time to respond to him.
During an appearence on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, the actor stated there was no reason for him to speak to Tyrese Gibson ever again.
Previously, Tyrese insinuated that The Rock was making the Fast franchise all about him, and therefore prolonging the next instalment of the series, so Dwayne could make a spin-off movie revolving around his character, Hobbes.
Regardless of their one-sided feud – via Norma Gibson in the court documents – the actor is now shifting some of the blame on his ex-wife, Norma. The Fate Of The Furious actor said Norma cost him around $200,000 and left him only with $130,000 in cash.
The actor wants his ex-wife’s legal fees to be dropped by the court, because there wasn’t sufficient evidence to prove that he was, indeed, abusive to their child.
According to a report from TMZ, Norma Gibson claims all of his financial problems are self-created, stating that his “extravagant lifestyle and over $113,000 in monthly bills are his choices.”
Additionally, Norma claims the actor’s comments on Dwayne Johnson’s career choices is now making it hard for him to find a job; Gibson’s ex-wife has certainly made some good points here.
However, whether or not Gibson has made smart financial decisions, accusing one’s ex-husband of child abuse isn’t a moral way to handle family problems either. Perhaps, there is more to the case than meets the eye.
