According to a report from the New York Daily News, the former boyfriend of Kylie Jenner, Tyga, is getting ready to face off with the US government after not paying them nearly a million dollars in taxes. The “Rack City” rapper owes Uncle Sam around $890,183.57 in income tax.
The Blast was the first publication to obtain the documents and cited paperwork submitted to the Franchise Tax Board for the State Of California.
The 28-year-old “B*tch, I’m the S*it” creator didn’t pay taxes from the period of 2011 all the way up to 2016. According to People Magazine, the interest will continue to compound on the amount that he refused to pay.
A representative for Tyga didn’t respond to the presses’ request to comment, but sources close to the rapper explained that “ever since his breakup with Kylie, it seems like he’s finding himself in one bad situation after the next.”
And this isn’t the first time Tyga has had money troubles, as he settled a lawsuit in Malibu in 2016 after he didn’t pay the rent for a home he lived in. The rapper fleed the residence without paying the landlord any money.
Additionally, Tyga damaged equipment lent to him while he was working on a failed clothing company. The rapper lost a $186,000 court battle between himself and F & S Investment Properties.
If that isn’t bad enough, the “Faded” artist also had to pay a jeweler a lump sum of $280,000 for all of the jewelry he bought.
It seems like Tyga’s star-power is continuing to fade, as he formerly had hits like “Faded” and “Rack City,” and even dated social media’s biggest star, Kylie Jenner.
But since their breakup, it continues to get worse. Following the ending of their relationship, Jenner went on to have a baby girl with Travis Scott.
