Hot mama Toya Wright just wanted to show her sexy style while having fun at Coachella, but she has landed herself in some serious problems by wearing a controversial Elvis Presley T-shirt.
At this point, it is clear that Reginae Carter’s mother cannot catch a break no matter what she or does not do. Toya took to Instagram where she tried to flaunt her festival look.
She posted two photos where she is wearing Stella McCartney sneakers, bicycle shorts, and a white T-shirt that features a picture of Elvis. Fans are bashing Toya because they see Elvis as racist.
While others claimed that it is better for black people to support their own musicians and legendary artists instead of rocking shirts supporting Guns and Roses, Kiss, and the Rolling Stones that they never listened too.
One angry fan said: “All this black girl magic is going on, and she got on Elvi. Why Elvis? He was openly racist!!!! I don’t understand blacks who seem to take pride in wearing these racist people on their shirts! Elvis would never rock a shirt with any black person! Girl, he said I’m the only thing blacks can do for him is shine his shoes I would never rock anything with Elvis on it.”
Another commenter wrote: “Yall mad at me cause she left her newborn to see Beyonce. Or lying about being at Coachella she ain’t in no pics with her daughter at Coachella. So to me, if she home with a newborn don’t dress up and hashtag it like you mad your baby daddy made you stay home cause he doesn’t like how you raised your first child … now I’m just mean. One more thing Not with that shirt Toya. Why would she rock Elvis Presley who was a known racist.”
A third person claimed: “Exactly, and my parents and relatives said he was open about being a racist! I’m from Memphis and wouldn’t ever wear anything with his face on it. I’ve been here the majority of my life and never been to his house…and will never go!I’ve heard similar stories from the elders in my family as well. My mother told me he was quoted saying “A nigger couldn’t do anything for him but shine his shoes.”Meanwhile, I’ll sport the real King T-Shirt.”
