As claims against Hollywood stars mount and the industry deals with each charge as they come, it’s not surprising that allegations against people are spilling out into other sectors.
Interestingly enough, the most recent case – that being the rapper Too $hort – is different in the sense that the Bay Area artist is preemptively dishing on the charges candidly before it was even necessary.
When speaking with reporters from TMZ, the rapper talked about the claims made by the aspiring musician, Teana Louis. He said her stories are a part of an attempt of “out-right extortion,” and she merely wants money; that’s it.
In an attempt to defend himself against the allegations, Too $hort wants to countersue for slander and intends to get a restraining order to “get this out of (his) life.”

Additionally, the rapper claims he and the woman didn’t even work together, and as soon as he refused to collaborate, she accused him of rape.
Too $hort said, “we did not ever have sex. She was not raped. The most we ever did was foreplay.” In an attempt to gather a lesson from all of this, he said, “everything has to be handled very sensitively, as far as the work environment, as far as general relationships.”
As for the current political climate following the #MeToo movement, the rapper believes most women are telling the honest truth, but some of them are merely looking for a financial pay-out. For those women out there, he wants them to know they’re “messing up the movement” for everyone else.
In a report from TMZ, Teana Louis filed a lawsuit against the Bay Area legend because of alleged “forced oral sex, vaginal sex, and sodomy.” The woman is suing him for a litany of claims including sexual harassment, battery, gender discrimination, gender violence, and false imprisonment.
