During a chat with reporters from Us Weekly, Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney from Vanderpump Rules revealed how they deal with the harsh times throughout their relationship. The 30-year-old reality star said they’re “amazing,” and despite the life of a married couple as “blissful,” it still manages to come with hard work at times.
Katie, 30, spoke with reporters from the publication while at the premiere for the upcoming film, Pitch Perfect 3. Maloney said they still have problems to work on, but other than that, it’s working out fine.
Schwartz, who is five-years-older than Maloney, said his wife keeps him on a “short leash,” but that it’s his fault. According to Maloney, her husband has been acting like a “frat boy” again.
The reporter emphasized the importance of the fact that Schwartz comes home every night, to which Maloney refuted. The reality star said, “sometimes he doesn’t” even come home.
In case you want to see what’s new in Katie and Tom’s world, know that their relationship will hit the small screen during the sixth season of Vanderpump Rules on Bravo TV. Maloney said it would all “make sense” soon enough.
As you may know, Tom and Katie have talked about their relationship ills in the past. When they spoke to Us Weekly in November, she said they’re not “happily ever after.” They still have a “lot of work to do.”
Maloney echoed that sentiment when she said they would be “lying to (them)selves” if they stated that everything is perfect all the time. Either way, it probably isn’t a good sign that they’re having trouble already.
As you may know, Maloney and Tom got married back in summer of 2016 during the season finale of the fifth season on Vanderpump Rules. At the time, Maloney said the future is no longer hypothetical, instead, it’s “real.”
