Patriots’ Tom Brady is really disappointed after his team lost to the Eagles this Sunday. Check out what he said during a post-game conference after the loss of his third Super Bowl.
Tom stated that losing ‘sucks’ but this is a natural thing that happens in sports.
‘You show up, and you try and win, and sometimes you lose, and that’s the way it goes,’ Tom confessed.
‘Yeah, I mean, it does suck. It obviously — yup, it sucks,’ he said according to NFL.com.
He threw for over 500 yards, but this was not enough to beat the Philly Eagles. The Patriots lost 33-41.
If his team had won the Super Bowl, this would have been his sixth win.
He has been playing for the Patriots for 17 whole years. Fans are afraid that he will decide that it’s time to end it all.
‘I expect to be back, so we’ll see,’ Tom said.
‘I mean, it’s 15 minutes after the game, so I want to process it a bit. But I don’t see why I wouldn’t be back,’ he stated, reassuring his fans that he is not going anywhere.
There are a lot of voices that blame Tom for the fact that the Patriots lost to Eagles yesterday, but Bill Belichick wants to be the one blamed for this.
He said that they could not make enough plays and this is all his fault.
‘We weren’t able to perform at our best. Obviously, we didn’t do a good enough job coaching, missed a lot of opportunities offensively in the first half, didn’t play good enough defense, didn’t play good enough in the kicking game,’ Bill stated.
