As it was reported earlier a former star of HBO’s hit comedy “Silicon Valley” claimed that she had to work in a hostile environment. Now the co-star that she took aim at is fighting back.
Alice Wetterlund said that her time on the “Silicon Valley” subjected her to bullying by her mainly male counterparts. Additionally, she claimed that TJ Miller was a ‘petulant brat’ who was enabled by those around him.
Wetterlund also said in a tweet: “I’m pretty open about this, and I don’t know if other women on the show had a different experience than me, but it was kind of a nightmare.”
TJ Miller is speaking up to say that Alice was the real problem.
“Truthfully, I felt like it was difficult to work with her because she kept interrupting Zach Woods … during takes and even when she was off camera. Obviously, there was some sort of disconnect because she’s saying these negative things about me and then attacking the mostly all-male cast of ‘Silicon Valley'” the comedian explained.
Thank you! I hope to not ruin it for you, but TJ Miller was a bully and petulant brat and pretty much everyone who had any power on that (almost all male) set, including the male cast members, enabled him and were complicit in his unprofessionalism. They can fuck off forever. https://t.co/YxGHiSYMrJ

Miller also said that she could have had that experience but he believes she’s just trying to catch headlines and media attention.
The “Deadpool” actor has had a rough past year. After leaving “SV” on his own terms, Miller was hit with a sexual assault accusation that lead to his Comedy Central show being canceled.
Additionally, his HBO special flopped and the actor was most recently arrested for calling in a bomb threat.
HBO released a statement after catching wind of Wetterlund’s comments that read: “While this is the first time we have heard Alice Wetterlund comment on her experiences on Silicon Valley, we are disappointed to learn of her concerns. HBO and the producers have always taken very seriously our responsibility to create a welcoming and congenial environment for everyone who works on the show.”
Do you believe Alice or TJ?
