As it was previously reported, Tina Turner recently suffered a huge loss as a parent. The legendary performer suffered the death of her son in a tragic suicide on the 3rd of July.
E! News, through the Los Angeles County Coroner, confirmed that Craig shot himself in the head. The police announced that he was dead around 12:38 pm after they had discovered him in Studio City, California.
He was 59-years-old. Nearly a month later, Tina and the rest of her family and friends said their last goodbye to Craig by releasing his ashes.
For the very first time, Ms. Turner shared a photo of herself on social media following his death. In a post which you can see below, the singer can be seen dropping a flower into the ocean while surrounded by her friends and family.
My saddest moment as a mother. On Thursday, July 19 2018, I said my final goodbye to my son, Craig Raymond Turner, when I gathered with family and friends to scatter his ashes off the coast of California. He was fifty-nine when he died so tragically, but he will always be my baby pic.twitter.com/XzZQCdz8tl

Tina gave birth to two sons, with her first being with the saxophone player, Raymond Hill, and the second, with Mr. Ike Turner, Ronald Turner.
As fans of the singer know, Tina has had a particularly rough life, suffering through an abusive relationship with Ike, dramatized in the classic movie, What’s Love Got To Do With It?
In a previous interview, Tina said that she woke up one day and realized she had to leave Ike, with no money in her pocket, and nowhere to go. Eventually, she found the courage to do so and nearly got hit by a car when she was crossing a freeway.
Without question, Tina is one of the most resilient superstars out there, suffering through devastating relationships, as well as the death of her son.
As for Ike, Mr. Turner died back in 2007, eleven years ago, on the 12th of December. Ike said in an interview once that the movie greatly exaggerated the drama in their relationship.
