Kanye West has been topping the headlines once again for his infamous social media comments and remarks, ranging from the philosophizing on the concept of time; the dichotomy between the subconscious and conscious mind; and then, Donald Trump.
However, his comments on the chief-in-command have put him in serious trouble with the media and his cohorts in the entertainment world.
According to a report from BET.com, Kanye’s favorable comments on Donald Trump – that he and the president share the same “Dragon Energy” – has left people like John Legend very upset.
So upset, that John sent him a private message expounding upon the importance for West to recant, or take back, his implicit support of the controversial politician.
Furthermore, some of the Kardashian-Jenner clan members have even unfollowed him on Twitter. People Magazine claims that Kylie Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kourtney all unfollowed him on the blue-birded platform.
Ye’s wife, the beauty mogul, Kim Kardashian, defended the right of her husband having his own unique opinion. “Most people have very different feelings and opinions about this. But this is his opinion.”
The makeup maven said it’s Kanye’s view, his right, and he can say whatever he wants as long as there are no threats. Additionally, to make matters worse as far as other celebrities are concerned, Kanye wore a “Make America Great Again” hat which was signed by Trump.
This is a serious social faux pas in blue-states – regions which voted Democrat in the 2016 election. The hat has become one of the most contentious items to wear in the USA at the moment. It might even be worse than the swastika, popularized by Hitler’s national socialist movement in the 1930’s.
