Thomas Ravenel, the Southern Charm alum, has been accused by the daughter of Debbie Holloway Perkins, Ashley Perkins, who claims that the reality star sexually assaulted her mother during a Tinder date. The real estate agent and former model claimed that Thomas and Debbie matched on the dating application back in October 2015, and they subsequently went on a date after Ravenel asked her several times.
Ashley stated that she “helped” her mom get ready for meeting Ravenel, including picking out jewelry and other accessories. So she noticed when her mother arrived home with cuts and bruises on her arms.
Ashley said to Fox News on the 2nd of May that the assault took place one day after Christmas in 2015. It was just one month after he and Kathryn Dennis welcomed their second baby.
According to Perkins, Debbie told her that he “grabbed (her) by the wrist,” forced her down, and pulled his penis out and attempted to rape her.
He then went on to put his fingers in her vagina and anal region. Ashley and Debbie took Ravenel to court and they settled for $200,000 in June 2016.
This isn’t the first time Ravenel has been in trouble; the court and jury sentenced him to ten months in jail on cocaine distribution charges eleven years ago in 2007.
Ravenel has two children with his partner, Kensie, 4, and Saint, 2. He’s currently dating Ashley Jacobs who dished on their relationship on The Morning Toast on Wednesday.
Jacobs previously stated that she was actually attracted to him more when she found out he has kids. Jacobs said she just wanted to be a “good role model” for his children. If the reports are true, it appears as though Thomas needs to work on being a role model too.
