Thomas Ravenel’s time on Southern Charm is at an end. After being accused of sexual misconduct, insiders say that producers have decided to give Ravenel the boot and will not invite him back for the upcoming season.
Two women came forward and accused the Southern Charm star of sexual harassment while Season 5 was underway. The first victim says that Ravenel assaulted her in 2015 and gave her $200,000 to keep quiet. The second woman, who worked as a nanny for Ravenel’s kids, claims that he attacked her while she was watching his children.
The Charleston Police Department is investigating the allegations made against Ravenel and has yet to announce their findings.

In light of the allegations, an inside source told Radar Online that producers fired Ravenel and he will not be back for Season 6. “The production company decided to let Thomas go,” the insider dished. “They made the decision to fire him before filming wrapped. That’s also why he wasn’t allowed to go to the reunion.”
Ravenel has responded to the reports that he was fired from Southern Charm. In a message posted on Twitter, the reality star confirmed that he will no longer be a part of the series. It should be noted that he made no mention of rumored escort GF Ashley Jacobs.
But instead of apologizing for his actions, Ravenel blamed the show for ruining his reputation and claims that he decided to leave because he was tired of Bravo controlling the narrative. He did not mention anything about being fired and assured fans that it was his decision to leave.
The insider, however, claims that Ravenel did not leave by choice. The source pointed out that Bravo makes all of its stars sign lengthy contracts, making it difficult for them to leave on their own volition. Ravenel was committed to the show in a similar contract and only the network and production company had the right to fire him.

In addition to his tweet, Ravenel issued an official statement via his lawyer. The statement was read on Watch What Happens Live by Andy Cohen. Ravenel revealed that he did not film the reunion because of the open investigation against him.
Thomas Ravenel assured fans that he is cooperating with police and believes that his name will be cleared in the coming months. He also thanked fans for their continued support and gave a shout out to his co-stars.
Filming for Season 6 of Southern Charm is expected to kick off later this year.
