Coachella is merely a week away and the stars are preparing to perform and attend. One of the music festival’s scheduled guests includes The Weeknd who is allegedly going to perform the diss song aimed at Selena Gomez.
Since the R&B crooner dropped his new album titled “My Dear Melancholy,” fans have been going wild for the music that is giving us old Weeknd vibes instead of the radio-friendly version we’ve been getting accustomed to.
The OVO singer is gearing up to give the most heartfelt performance that he’s done in years. A source is claiming that the very explosive “Call Out My Name” is part of his setlist.
The insider tells Hollywood Life: “He can’t wait to sing the song live and at Coachella because it will be a cathartic experience for him to finally get over her.”
In the song, Abel raps: “I said I didn’t feel nothing, baby, but I lied / I almost cut a piece of myself for your life / Guess I was just another pit stop / ‘Til you made up your mind / You just wasted my time / You’re on top.”
It wouldn’t be surprising if Selena attends Coachella since it’s the hottest music event of the year, but we highly doubt that she would be present for The Weeknd’s set.
One celebrity who will no doubt be attending just so happens to be another one of The Weeknd’s exes — Bella Hadid.
The model who is currently in Asia told her Instagram followers that Coachella isn’t ready for what she’s got in store.
It’s a huge possibility that Bella Hadid may be seen in the VIP section of her ex-boyfriend’s stage area because the two have rekindled their friendship.
Additionally, Celebrity Insider has reported that Bella is flattered by The Weeknd’s references to her.
Do you think the artist is being petty by performing a song that he knows will stir the pot?
