It’s Season 15 of NBC’s hit The Voice and coaches Blake Shelton, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, and Adam Levine have returned to their chairs. The show kicks off with a two-hour premiere from 8-10 p.m. ET, followed by a one hour follow up on Tuesday night from 8-9 p.m. ET. The tensions are sure to run high between Blake Shelton and Adam Levine as they always do and fans will tune in for the blind auditions and the choosing of the teams. Carson Daly returns as host, a job he’s held since the show’s onset, and Kelly Clarkson returns as champion due to her team member Brynn Cartelli’s Season 14 win.
While there is also expected to be fierce competition between Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson (both got their musical careers in full gear via American Idol) the two may end up having more in common than they disagree about. Many have expressed enjoyment watching the dynamics play out between Kelly and Jennifer.
There’s already talk about some of the vocalists who will appear on the premiere and excitement mounts as fans can’t wait to see if their early favorites will make it to the next stage of the show.
Check out the vocals on Sarah Grace as she performs Janis Joplin’s hit “Ball and Chain.”

Another early favorite is Tyshawn Colquitt who is making an impression with his blind audition and several amazing high notes he hit while singing Sam Smith’s “Like I Can.”
Fans of the show have been on social media networks such as Twitter and Facebook throughout the day sharing their anticipation for The Voice premiere. After 15 years, the show continues to hold its own in the ratings, but things will e up in the air as The Voice and ABC’s Dancing With The Stars are both airing 2-hour premieres during the same time slot.
Both shows return on Tuesday night as well, only The Voice will air from 8-9 p.m. ET and Dancing With The Stars will air from 8-10 p.m. ET.
