During a chat with reporters from Us Weekly, The Real co-host, Tamera Mowry, dished on her childhood crushes as well as her time with the Mickey Mouse Club, a period in her life where got to meet people like Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.
The 39-year-old stated that she along with her sister, Tia, had their own television series for five years and during that time they spoke with many celebrities, including Gabrielle Union, Will Smith, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson, as well as Kobe Bryant.
The actress said that Kobe, however, stood out the most because she had the “biggest crush on him.” To be fair though, Mowry had plenty of crushes on fellow celebrities.
One of her other infatuations was Johnathan Taylor Thomas, who she described as “just so cute.” She “loved his hair. Home Improvement, that was like, the show.”
Mowry is no stranger to celebrity interactions. She and her sister made an appearance on the Mickey Mouse Club along with Justin Timberlake and more of his famous acquaintances.
According to the host, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Keri Russell, and Ryan Gosling were all there and it was such an amazing time for her.
“They’re all very, very, nice,” the actress and host explained. As you may know, Tamera and Tia had their own show on the Disney Channel called, Sister, Sister.
Through her connections, she got to meet some of the most famous celebrities, including ones who blew up in a way that was completely unforeseeable. As it was mentioned at the beginning of the article, Mowry and other Disney alum work as hosts on The Real, so her career didn’t depreciate either.
