The cast of Southern Charm has parted ways with one of their own. Amid reports of sexual misconduct, the cast of the hit reality series has officially cut ties with Thomas Ravenel. Is his time on Bravo nearing an end?
Sources close to the situation say that most of the cast members of Southern Charm have not spoken to Ravenel after production ended for Season 5. This includes Southern Charm stars Shep Rose, Craig Conover, Cameran Eubanks, Chelsea Meissner, Naomie Olindo and Austen Kroll, all of whom were pretty appalled by Ravenel’s behavior towards women this season.
According to People, Ravenel’s co-stars were disgusted by how he acted towards Kathryn Dennis and his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Jacobs. Not only did he verbally attack Dennis this season, but he was also accused of sexual misconduct by his children’s nanny, Dawn. In light of the allegations, the cast of Southern Charm want nothing to do with their co-star.

“They’re disgusted with him and the way he and Ashley treated Kathryn this season,” the insider dished, adding that Ravenel’s “eye-opening behavior” created a “huge wedge in his friendships.”
The only cast members who have talked to Ravenel in the past month are J.D. Madison and Whitney Sudler-Smith, both whom are recurring on the show. Dennis has also been in contact but only because she and Ravenel share custody of their two kids: Kensie and Saint.
Bravo has not released a statement about Ravenel’s sexual misconduct. While fans wait for an official word on the matter, Dennis recently celebrated her 27th birthday. The Southern Charm star was surprised by her co-stars in what she later described as the best party she’s ever experienced. Given how Ravenel has acted this season, he was not invited to the event.

Even if Ravenel got an invite, there is little chance that he would have went. Insiders claim that Ravenel has been keeping out of the public eye over the past few weeks and is basically living a hermit-like existence. Sources also claim that Ravenel is stressed by the sexual misconduct allegations and how things played out on the series. Although he is in a dark place, Ravenel is confident he can turn things around and repair his public image.
Bravo is currently investigating the allegations and is expected to make a ruling in coming weeks. Depending on what they find, it is possible that Ravenel’s time on the network is at an end.
Southern Charm will return with new episodes later this year on Bravo, at this point, we can only assume without Thomas Ravenel and Ashley Jacobs.
