Tess Holliday Responds To Piers Morgan’s Body-Shaming Comments

The model is not just going to remain silent after Piers Morgan’s body shaming comments. Tess Holliday, a 33-year-old who is the biggest she has ever been at 300 pounds is known as the very first size 22 model in the world.
Tess appears on Cosmopolitan U.K. magazine’s cover for the October issue, and she is quoted telling ‘haters to kiss her a**.’

Despite that, this morning, Piers took to social media to comment on the model’s magazine appearance saying: ‘As Britain battles an ever-worsening obesity crisis, this is the new cover of Cosmopolitan. Apparently, we are supposed to view it as a ‘huge step forward for body positivity.’ What a load of old baloney. This cover’s just as dangerous and misguided as celebrating size zero models.’

In response, Tess tweeted: ‘To everyone saying I am a burden to the British health care system, I am American, so you do not have to worry about my fat a**. Worry about what horrible people you are whining about how me being on the cover of a magazine impacts your small minded life.’
Tess shared that she used to be between sizes 16 and 18 before having her firstborn Rylee at 20 years old.
The model also shares another son named Bowie Juniper, 2, with her hubby Nick Holliday.
‘I look back on those photos now, and I don’t wish I was that size, but what I wish is that I loved myself 120 pounds ago. I’m at the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life now, and it took me being the heaviest to finally love myself,’ Tess explains.
The woman is also the creator of the #effyourbeautystandards campaign on Instagram.
About that she told Cosmopolitan U.K. that ‘I created [the campaign] out of frustration. I was angry and sad that people kept commenting on my pictures saying, ‘You’re too fat to wear that!’ or ‘Cover up! No one wants to see that!’ And then one night I was lying in bed and thought, ‘F**k that!’ So I posted an image with four photographs of myself wearing things that fat women are often told we ‘can’t wear’, and encouraged others to do the same.’
