On Wednesday, an ex-friend of Terry Crews – the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star – sued the actor claiming that he wasn’t paid for his work where he managed and promoted the actor’s social media accounts. Darwin Hall, the man in the suit, claims Terry owes him approximately $1 million.
Mr. Hall alleges that the actor “defamed” him in a number of tweets last year, and also invited his fans on a subreddit – a link aggregator on the internet – to harass and threaten Hall.
The lawsuit stated, “Plaintiff was terrified and feared for his safety as well as that of his family.” When they first began their working relationship, Terry was just beginning his career in 1999.
According to the social media manager, he worked for Terry for a very long time, building his Facebook page as well as his personal website, which he was paid $28,479.06.
Hall alleges that approximately half of that amount was reimbursement for a number of different costs that he took upon himself to pay. According to the ex-friend of Mr, Crews, he needs to be reimbursed around 6,000 hours of work at $55 per hour.
When I found out he was building porn sites, I told him I couldn’t work with him anymore, I saw how it all would backfire on me. He agreed to no longer build them…
Then promptly asked ME to pay him to replace all the money the porn sites would have given him.

When the man began working on a dating application for an LGBT client, Terry supposedly became enraged and requested he stop working on it immediately, because he didn’t want to be tied to any form of “pornography.”
Hall then quit his job but asked Terry to pay him for the amount he would’ve lost working on the app.
On his Twitter account, Terry said his employee “used to be a friend,” so he helped him out, but after he found out that he was creating pornography websites, the actor “let him go.”
According to Crews, his old friend would frequently brag about committing wrongdoings, but really it was all a form of intimidation. Via Crews, Hall supposedly bragged about spiking his friend’s peanut butter with mercury.
