As fans know all too well, about a month ago, a judge decided that Teresa Giudice’s hubby, Joe, would be deported to his native country, Italy, after serving the rest of his sentence in prison! At this point, while they are not giving up the hope, it seems like little can save him from his unfortunate punishment that will separate Joe from his family forever!
That being said, one of the options would be talking to president Donald Trump in order to maybe get a pardon!
While on Watch What Happens Live yesterday, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star revealed whether or not she’s contacted Trump already.
The celeb told host Andy Cohen that ‘No, I haven’t [called Donald Trump], but I’d love to speak with him if he wants to talk to me.’
Cohen told Teresa that she should be the one actively trying to get in contact with the president as soon as possible if she wants to help Joe and asked if she’ll do it.
‘We’ll see what happens,’ Teresa replied, unsure.
The Housewife actually is already connected to the commander in chief as she was part of Celebrity Apprentice in 2012.
People magazine was also curious to know is she’s taken into consideration contacting Trump, to which Teresa replied that ‘I don’t have a relationship with Mr. Donald Trump in that way.’
Reportedly, Teresa and the rest of the family was shocked to learn about the judge’s decision to deport Joe.
She confessed that their daughters in particular ‘were very upset.’
That being said, she made it very clear that their legal team would pursue the appeal option.
‘Well, they put the paperwork in, and it’s going to take time,’ she explained.
