MTV recently announced that they fired Teen Mom 2 star David Eason after his homophobic comments on Twitter, and now reports have surfaced that the network has stopped filming Jenelle Evans amid rumors that she will be joining her husband in the unemployment line. Will producers fire the mother of three after a string of offensive incidents?
Filming is on hold for Evans after she posed with a gun and posted the pic on social media just hours after the Florida school shooting and then confessed that she used drugs while pregnant with her daughter Ensley.
“No cameras were at Jenelle’s house after David got fired or the next day and there were no plans to resume filming anytime soon,” revealed an insider.
The source went on to say that MTV is having meetings all week to discuss the situation and to decide whether or not to fire Evans.

Producers fired Eason just one day after his offensive, bigoted Twitter rant, where he wrote that he would teach his kids not to associate with gay or transgender people because “if you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas.”
But Evans wasn’t completely innocent during the incident. She liked all of Eason’s tweets and went on to defend him.
She also tried to prove that her husband wasn’t a homophobe by mentioning that she used to have a gay manager and the couple once attended a birthday party with “a lot of LGBT people.” Evans added that Eason doesn’t hate people in the LGBTQ community.

Their Teen Mom 2 co-star Leah Messer reacted to Eason’s firing by saying that she is disgusted by his comments and supports MTV’s decision to fire him.
She added that people shouldn’t tolerate that kind of ignorance and she refuses to be associated with hatred of any kind. Messer then applauded the network’s quick and decisive action.
Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham is also thrilled that MTV let Eason go. The 26-year-old says that she hopes Eason takes this as a learning experience and she would like Evans to help her husband become a better person. However, she believes the network made the right and responsible choice by firing Eason.
After his controversial comments, fans of the show took to social media to protest, and last week they started a petition on Change.org urging executive producer Morgan J. Freeman to fire the couple after the gun picture.
They did get part of their demands met, but it looks like we will have to wait to find out if producers will let Evans go, too.
New episodes of Teen Mom 2 will air later this year on MTV, whether Jenelle Evans is a part of next season remains to be seen.
