Fans of “Love and Hip Hop Hollywood” star Teairra Mari will be delighted to know that the singer is back and better than ever after taking time off to go to rehab. Although the 29-year-old is grateful that she dealt with her problem, she still feels that she didn’t like the way the intervention came about.
If you can recall earlier in the season when Teairra Mari’s friends gathered to confront her about her worsening drinking problem. In the room sat Moniece Slaughter and her girlfriend, Lil Fizz, Nikki Mudarris, Nia Riley, and a producer for the show.
Before even speaking with the therapist, Teiarra demanded Nia and Fizz exit the room because she didn’t think that they cared about her.
On her guest spot on “The Real” this week, Mari explained exactly what was going through her mind when the confrontation happened.
“I didn’t feel like it was coming from a genuine place. From some people, you know, because it was being filmed for a TV show. So I felt like some people may have been doing it for a little camera time for a check.”
The shade seems to be directed at Nia specifically because she has no storyline this season.
How the songstress feels isn’t a surprise considering that “LHHH” alum Yung Berg tweeted about the situation hinting that she was being exploited.
The good thing about the situation is that no matter how insensitive it was brought about, Teairra got the help she needed.
The reality star continued to tell the ladies of “The Real”: But at the end of the day going to rehab was one of the best things that I could have ever done for myself. I’m just happy to be back.”
We are very happy that Teairra Mari got the help that she needed and wish her all the best!
