On Saturday, during one of her Reputation Tour concerts, in Chicago, Taylor Swift decided to give a touching speech honoring Pride Month! Here’s what she had to say!
‘It is very brave to be vulnerable about your feelings, in any sense, in any situation, but it is even more brave, to be honest about your feelings, and who you love when you know that might be met with adversity from society,’ she started.

‘And so this month and every month I want to send out my love and respect to everyone who’s been brave enough, to be honest about the way they feel, to live their lives as they are, as they identify. And this is a month when I think we need to celebrate how far we have come, we also need to acknowledge just how far we still have left to go,’ the star told her audience.
Acknowledging that there are many people who still haven’t managed to come out, Taylor showed them support and comforted them.
‘And I want to send my love and respect out to everyone who, in their journey, in their life, has not yet felt comfortable enough to come out. And may you do it in your own time. And may we end up in a world where everybody can live and love fully, and no one has to be scared to be vulnerable and say how they really feel.’
‘Because when it comes to feelings, and when it comes to love, and searching for somebody to spend your whole life with, it is all just really, really ‘Delicate,’ you know?’ she concluded, making reference to her new song.
What a great speech! Happy Pride Month to the LGBTQ community and its supporters!
