It is Tamar Braxton against a fan over her skin color. Earlier today, the former host of The Real took to social media and she shared a series of videos where she is wearing some sexy lingerie.
The talented diva is sporting a black bra, matching girdle, and is dripping in diamonds.
Braxton explained in the clip that she is working on something new for her adoring fans known as Tamaritians.
One person came for Tamar over her light skin color by writing: “Too much Foundation girl like we all know your skin color is Men and Black roach Brown now you are gold.”
Vincent Herbert’s wife clapped back and may have made matters worse by saying she is fair skinned.
She wrote: “Girl, I’m very fair, go to church and concentrate on God instead of my skin color. Or how about you put a payment plan together to get out of the shark you live in that we all see on Catfish wish you well God bless you.”
Another commenter added: “It’s a problem to black people. They hate everything dark and praise everything light. They make fun of everything and everyone that is dark. Let a dark person make fun of a lighter person, to black people; it’s just envious of the light person. Smh. This is coming from a light skinned sista. I’m aware of my black people’s self-hate.”
Fans have a lot to say about the exchange.
One of them said: “I just hate how some miserable person always tries to get a reaction out of someone. Then When they find out who they’re trying to play with, they learn to stop bumping they gums with foolery…Tamar has her ways, but she’s just another successful female in her lane…We all got the same 24 hours..No need to be hurtful towards anyone…There’s also this thing where is you don’t like something you can just keep quiet and scroll past it.”
A second supporter stated: “Tamar ain’t been any damn dark brown. She always been light skin. Yall will say anything. She does wear too much foundation tho.Fair is a word used by white people to describe their light skin complexion. So instead of Tamar saying that there’s nothing wrong with being a brown queen, she gets offended. Which is why she’s like no, “I’m fair.” Like saying no I’m not the complexion of a “roach” brown-skinned person, is close to a white woman complexion. Black people value white people and hate their blackness. They can pretend all they want, just because of this black panther movie. Their African clothes and their words say that they are pro-black, but their actions say that they are pro-white and anti-black.”
