Earlier today, ATL actor T.I. was arrested, and he made it out of jail just in time to be with Tiny Harris and celebrate their son, Major 10th’s birthday.
Fans are applauding T.I.P. for being such a dedicated father.
According to TMZ, around 4 am, Tiny’s husband arrived at the gated community where he lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
The activist, who forgot his keys, got into a heated argument with the guard who refused to let him in his own mansion.
T.I. told TMZ that the guard was half-asleep and that he called Tiny several times, and she asked him to let the rapper in, but he declined.
The guard called the police who had “no interest in hearing T.I.P’s side of the story and wrongfully chose to end the situation by arresting him,” according to his attorney, Steve Sadow.
T.I., who was booked for assault, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness, was released just in time to make it to Major’s birthday party at his school with Tiny.
One fan said: “He is the same shirt in all them jail germs on it lmao. I wouldn’t even want to see my dad if I knew he was arrested the day of my bday party. Major is so big. He was trying to go home! He was not trying to be publicly drunk or disorderly. Are you telling me the guard didn’t know he lived in the neighborhood? Really?”
Another commenter stated: “That man still drunk, he got the same clothes on and everything at the party. In TIP voice – This was just a disgrace & I am appalled. A very atrocious act of the cop to arrest that astonishing human being. Lol. Waiting for Tip’s thesaurus laced loquacious response. He was right outside his gated community..they could have gotten his ID and let him in. Unnecessary to arrest him. He’s being targeted. He’s been speaking out too much.”
A third person claimed: “Happy Birthday Major, Glad he’s out & unharmed, BUT actually it is their job, so they know who belongs and doesn’t that’s the whole point. You don’t show ID if the person is a new guard you tell them where you live and they check on a database that shows your picture and keep it moving.”
T.I. will probably use this situation to make a more significant point.
