Suspects in Kim Kardashian Robbery in Court Today
Six people suspected of involvement in the spectacular robbery of Kim Kardashian in early October in Paris must appear before the investigating judge today, according to the reports.
Yunice A., 63, was previously indicted on Thursday for organized robbery with a gun, kidnapping or forcible confinement and criminal association.
Three other men, considered as accomplices, were also charged: two were suspected of having helping plan the heist and a third, of having participated in the sale of stolen goods.
Among the ten protagonists arrested Monday, five are suspected of having penetrated the robbery in the luxury hotel residence in Paris where the reality show star was without her bodyguard the night of October 2nd to 3rd.
Four of them, aged 54 to 72, are to appear before the investigating judges during the day, according to a source close to the investigation.
The investigators believe they hold the “mastermind ” of the attack, a 60-year-old man whose DNA was found early on in the investigations.
He will be presented to the magistrates along with his wife and his son.
Masked and clad in police jackets, they had neutralized the night watchman, then two of them had climbed into the apartment of the star. A gun pointed at her temple, they tied up and gagged her before locking her up in the bathroom.
The thieves escaped with over $11-million in jewelry, the largest jewelry theft targeting a private individual in France in more than 20 years.
When faced by investigators, some “acknowledged” their involvement, others denied everything, according to a source close to the investigation.
Kim Kardashian is now getting on with her life and is currently in Dubai for a makeup tutorial.
