‘Southern Charm’s’ Thomas Ravenel And Ashley Jacobs Look Affectionate On Dinner Date After His Sexual Assault Arrest

Former Southern Charm stars Thomas Ravenel and Ashley Jacobs reunited this past weekend for dinner at Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan Island in Charleston, South Carolina, and rumors are flying that they are back together. The couple split back in August, but during their outing, they appeared to be affectionate and in good spirits.
According to reports, Ravenel put his arm around his ex while they sat with another couple at the bar. This date marks the second time that Ravenel and Jacobs have gone out in recent weeks. They also went out for dinner last month and put on an affectionate display.

At that time, a source told People Magazine that the former couple looked “like they were having a good time,” and if they are still broken up, you wouldn’t know it. However, they weren’t showing PDA. Instead, they looked like close friends having a good time out together.
In August, Jacobs told fans on Instagram that she was handling the split privately and made it clear that she still loved Ravenel. She said that she would always care about him, and she will still trying to work things out, but wasn’t working on getting back together with him.
Not long after Jacobs’ Instagram post, Ravenel posted some cryptic tweets implying that she had been unfaithful. But, she denied the accusations, and he backtracked. He wrote that Jacobs never cheated on him, and as far as he knew she was always faithful and true, especially in dark times. And, she didn’t deserve his “insinuations to the contrary.”

Neither Ravenel nor Jacobs has confirmed that they are back together.
Last month, police arrested Ravenel — who shares two children with his former co-star Kathryn Dennis — for 2nd-degree assault and battery after his former nanny accused him of stripping her and putting his genitals in her face in January 2015.
The misdemeanor charge carries a maximum sentence of three years in prison and a fine of $2,500.
Police released him from jail after the court granted him a $20,000 personal recognizance bond. He had to turn in his passport and is not allowed to leave the state.
After his arrest, Bravo announced that Ravenel would not be returning to Southern Charm next season. And, it is not likely that Ashley Jacobs will return, either.

This isn’t the first time that Thomas Ravenel has gotten into trouble with the law. Back in 2006, police arrested him for felony possession of cocaine when he was the South Carolina state treasurer, and he ended up spending ten months in prison.
New episodes of Southern Charm will return to Bravo in 2019.
