Ashley Jacobs has caused quite the reaction among Southern Charm fans – it seems most either love or hate her – but most people agree that the California beauty has a fantastic head of hair. Throughout season five of the Bravo reality show, Jacobs’ blonde locks often look like she just left a salon. However, Thomas Ravenel’s girlfriend revealed on Instagram during the 4th of July holiday that she has changed her look.
In the pic, Jacobs is wearing a white floppy hat and a red, white, and blue bikini, but many noticed something different – she cut and colored her hair.
In the photo’s caption, Jacobs wrote that she loved her new short, sleek look and called out her stylist, Powell Clements.
According to The Good Tea, Jacobs’ new style comes right before the season five finale, and fans got a sneak peek of the last episode during the premiere when they saw Kathryn Dennis fighting with Jacobs. In the clip, Jennifer Snowden also asks Austen Kroll if he just called Jacobs a hooker. Apparently, during the finale party, someone accused her of being an escort.
Juicy Scoop podcast host Heather McDonald says that she has heard Ravenel met Jacobs through call girl Landon Clements, and then he hired her to be his girlfriend for the season. This explains why it appears that Ravenel doesn’t really like Jacobs.
The hospice nurse has a history of dating older, wealthy men, and was a professional gold digger when she lived in Santa Barbara. If you look at her social media, you will see old pics of her on yachts and private jets – things she couldn’t possibly afford on her salary. Apparently, she used her job as a hospice nurse to meet clients.
In a 2016 post, there is a pic of Jacobs standing next to a private jet with the caption, “By working hard, you get to play hard guilt-free.”
McDonald says that after they started shooting the current season of Southern Charm, Ravenel wanted to quit, but Jacobs threatened to tell the truth about their arrangement. So, he decided to keep filming but looks miserable doing it.
Luzanne Otte also claimed that Ravenel broke up with Jacobs so he could date her, but she ended up dumping him because of verbal abuse. He then went back to the escort.
All of the pieces of the puzzle are starting to come together, and it looks like fans will finally find out the truth during the season five finale and reunion. Ravenel didn’t go to New York for the reunion because of sexual assault allegations, but Ashley Jacobs did show up to tell her side of the story.
Southern Charm airs Thursday nights on Bravo.
