Kathryn Dennis is demanding changes in her custody agreement with ex-boyfriend Thomas Ravenel. Following Ravenel’s arrest for assault and battery, the Southern Charm star is looking for more custody as Ravenel faces serious charges for sexual assault.
Dennis, who has two children with Ravenel, filed for the custody change last week. The couple’s turbulent relationship has been featured on Southern Charm the past five seasons. Dennis had zero custody of her kids prior to Season 5 because of her battles with substance abuse.

That changed in the Season 5 finale, when a judge finally granted Dennis 50/50 custody of Kensie and Saint.
With Ravenel facing possible jail time, there is a good chance that Dennis gains full control of her two kiddos.
According to Us Magazine, Ravenel was charged with second degree assault and battery stemming from an incident with his former nanny. The nanny claims that Ravenel tried to undress her in 2015 while she was working at his home.
The victim claims Ravenel attempted to remove her clothing, which resulted in her bra cutting into her skin. After Ravenel tried to grab her private parts, the nanny crouched close to the ground to fight back.
“The defendant then put his penis in her face and asked, ‘Do you like big dicks?'” the court records revealed.
Ravenel denied any wrongdoing back in May. Dennis has remained fairly quiet about Ravenel’s scandal and has not commented on the custody modification. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Dennis said she will not comment until the case is over. Until then, Dennis plans on focusing on raising her kids and keeping out of the scandal.
Ravenel is not going to be a part of Season 6. He is scheduled to appear in court next week to answer the charges. He has not said anything about losing custody.
Kathryn Dennis is currently working on the new season of Southern Charm with the rest of her co-stars.
