According to a close friend of the controversial man, O.J. Simpson has been having some issues of a supernatural nature with his dead wife. The disgraced sportsman was acquitted of the murder of Nicole and her pal back in 1994, but it looks like the guilt has been eating at Simpson, who has apparently been ‘haunted’ by his late wife’s ghost ever since the murder took place.
Vernon Nelson, a pal of the former football pro, and author of Emotions Stirred revealed that O.J. confessed to him that ‘Nicole haunts me from the afterlife. I have night terrors from her. She appears at random, at night … and is always calling me a coward. She is always laughing at me. She just won’t let me be. She has fun taunting me.’
Even though in 1994 O.J. beat the murder rap, in 1997 he was found responsible in a civil lawsuit.
About ten years later, during his armed robbery trial, Simpson was overheard talking to no one while on a plane with his bondsman.
‘He looks over towards the window, and he starts talking with an imaginary person right there, and I hear the name, Nicole. He tells her, ‘Why you f***ing with me?’ I say, ‘Hey, O.J., keep it down. There are people on the plane.’ He says, ‘No, no, no … Stop messing with me. Look at what you’ve done to me now! And he is actually shouting at his own reflection from the window,’ his bondsman, Miguel Pereira recalled, adding that another time he was once again overheard shouting at someone.
When questioned about his outburst, O.J. told the man his ‘past’ was hunting him.
The 70-year-old was released from jail earlier in the month.
