That is hilarious! The performer took to social media to make reference to his iconic song in reply to none other than former mayor of NYC, Rudy Giuliani!
It all started when the politician tweeted something pretty confusing very early this morning.
Soulja Boy was not afraid to epically respond to the said tweet, and it looks like this has some true meme potential.
It was definitely weird and confusing when social media users saw President Trump’s attorney’s tweet that simply read: ‘You.’
But while many took to the platform to express their curiosity as to what Giuliani might have wanted to tweet before probably accidentally pressing post, Soulja Boy decided that trolling might be more effective and more fun!
Referring to his iconic song, the star added: ‘Crank That Soulja Boy.’
In addition, considering the fact that the lyric is supposedly alluding to a sexual act, whether with a partner or alone, it looks like Soulja might have been suggesting that the politician who was up at an unusual hour was having some fun and needed some cheering on.
Still, all of that does not change the mystery that was that tweet.
Rudy did not explain what he meant despite the fact that he returned to the platform later to talk about some appearances he is set to make on FOX and CBS.
Many headlines were quick to discuss the confusing tweet, wondering whether the man knew what he was doing or not.
The real story behind it, however, looks like will remain a mystery unless Giuliani decides to reveal it himself.
At least we got a chuckle out of it because of Soulja’s trolling!
