Sofia Vergara’s battle with Nick Loeb, her ex, has reached a new level of ridiculous when Loeb decided to sue Vergara on behalf of her frozen embryos. What?!
Nick Loeb wishes the embryos be put into a surrogate mother and brought to life.
The embryos are “suing” Vergara under the names “Emma” and “Isabella” in a right-to-live lawsuit, with James Carbonnet listed as a “trustee.”
The lawsuit claims that “Emma and Isabella, by not being born, have been deprived of an inheritance from a trust that has been created for them in Louisiana.”
The lawsuit asks that the embryos be given to Loeb so that they can be born and benefit of their rightful trust. The money is supposed to cover their healthcare and education until becoming adults.
Emma and Isabella’s lawsuit argues that the contract signed in California between Loeb and Vergara should be voided.
According to sources, Loeb wrote to Vergara in a text message: “You can’t keep 4 frozen lives forever or kill them; we will go to hell,”
“We r going to hell regardless,” Vergara texted back.
Fortunately, Loeb dropped the bizarre lawsuit. The man said that after two of his girlfriends have had abortions he felled compelled to do whatever he could to bring the embryos to life. After Vergara’s lawyers asked for personal information about the women in order to question them further, he refused to expose them and decided to give up the lawsuit.
During an interview for Howard Stern’s radio show Vergara shared why she refused to have the embryos be born. “A child needs a mother and a loving relationship with parents that get along, that don’t hate each other. . . Kids need parents. I wouldn’t want to bring kids to the world where it is already set everything wrong for them. It would be so selfish. I’ve been working very hard for 20 years to get to this point where I am. I don’t want to allow this person to take more advantage of my career and try to promote himself.”
