Sofia Riche is sued for sharing a few professional photos without having permission. She posted the pics on her Instagram account. Check out the details.
TMZ obtained some documents that are saying that the celebrity photo agency called Backgrid is taking legal action against Sofia.
She shared a few of their pics with her 3.2 million followers without paying for the pictures and without asking for permission.
Sofia shared these photos featuring her carrying a yellow handbag back in July. This was a part of a partnership with the Japanese brand called Samantha Thavasa.
Backgrid said that they had sent a cease and desist letter to Sofia’s lawyers back in October and she still hasn’t deleted the pics from her social media account.
The agency spoke to her lawyer and saw that four of the seven photos were deleted, but at least two more of them were still up on her Instagram account even in 2018.
Backgrid demands compensation for damages and lost profits that have the value of $1 million.
Sofia also used her Instagram account to declare her love for her beau, Scott Disick publicly. She posted a pic of the two of them near their private jet after landing in Aspen, Colorado.
She wrote ‘Love You Kid’ on the photo. They spent New Year’s Eve together in Aspen and Scott took her there to convince her that he is way over Kourtney Kardashian and that now she is the most important woman in his life.
