SZA has had a year as good as Cardi B. The TDE singer went from being featured in a song with Rihanna to performing on “Saturday Night Live.” When she canceled a set of tour dates for the second time, some of her fans called her out on her excuses.
A few months ago when the “CTRL” tour was slated to begin, SZA was supposed to stop in Philadelphia and D.C. She postponed those shows due to health issues.
The time for the make-up concerts have come and SZA’s new excuse for rescheduling them yet again is because she has bronchitis.
At TDE’s annual Christmas party, the singer explained on stage that she wasn’t feeling her best and that she was losing her voice but was able to push through with the assistance of the crowd.
In an Instagram post, SZA explained: “Philly i got bronchitis like a muhf*cka pushed it the last 4 shows and today still have a fever + sound n feel like poo we moved all the re-scheduled shows together in a mini re tour package! Believe me i wanted to be wiff y’all i jus believe u deserve better than sick poop . trying my absolute best. loving u always.”
The past few days the songstress has been looking fierce on social media and a few of her followers decided to call her out on it.
One person wrote: “sis i thought you were sick and couldn’t make it to philly but you’re out here w bronchitis smoking blunts I’m lost n hurt.”
To which the “CTRL” singer responded: “how bout I’m sick and STILL working. Lol on the complete other coast of the country on a pre contracted project, Jus cause im sick don’t mean I don’t have to do ANY work love, Peace.”
Fameolous reported months ago that SZA would be canceling many of her shows due to a struggle with depression.
The site claimed that the label would cover it by saying that it’s her physical and not mental health that’s affecting her.
Whatever the issue may be, we hope that SZA is taking the proper steps to get well soon.
