The feud between Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson continues. Dodd fired the latest shot when she said in a recent interview that if Gunvalson ends up marrying Steve Lodge, the OG of the OC will have to pay for everything — including the engagement ring. Dodd also made it clear that she didn’t think Lodge would be the one to pop the question.
When Dodd was asked about the possibility of a Gunvalson and Lodge wedding, she said it wouldn’t happen “unless she buys herself her own ring, which she probably will do. And plans the wedding and pays for it herself, then he might say yes.”
Gunvalson has been on RHOC since the beginning, and Dodd joined the show in 2016 for Season 11. The two became fast friends, but their friendship started falling apart once Gunvalson admitted that she and Lodge went on a double date with Dodd’s ex-husband, Michael, and his new girlfriend.
Dodd and Gunvalson have fought during Season 13, which is currently airing on Bravo, but Dodd has also argued with Lodge about the situation. Dodd says that she feels Lodge is hiding something because the former police officer didn’t want to be on the show. He also kept complaining about not getting paid, and she doesn’t know if Gunvalson renegotiated her contract to get Lodge payment for appearing on RHOC.
But now, Dodd says that he is everywhere and calling himself a public figure. Lodge is also on Cameo (a website where fans can purchase personalized videos from their favorite celebrities), and he is all over social media, so he has to be making money off of it.
During her interview with Us Weekly, Dodd also addressed Gunvalson’s claims during a Watch What Happens Live appearance last week that she would only date a man if he had money.
“Yeah, called me a gold digger, and said I left a millionaire, I’m trying to find a billionaire. Well, let me know where I can find a billionaire. I’ll jump on that,” Dodd said sarcastically.
She went on to say that she isn’t even looking for anyone, and she doesn’t want a boyfriend because she doesn’t want to have anyone to answer to. She also wants to come and go whenever she wants, after being tied down her entire life. Now, she wants to figure herself out.

As for Gunvalson, only time will tell if she and Lodge will walk down the aisle. But, she did say last December that she was “so ready for marriage.”
Gunvalson also had some harsh words for Dodd on the most recent episode of RHOC. She said that Kelly was always yelling at Michael, and they had a terribly volatile relationship. She added that it was Kelly’s decision to leave the marriage, even though she had claimed that the divorce was a mutual decision. But Vicki Gunvalson says it was all Kelly Dodd, and she left because she didn’t like Michael.
New episodes of the Real Housewives of Orange County air Monday nights on Bravo.
