Fans are bracing themselves for more victims to come forward in the Kevin Spacey sex scandal case based on information the two-time Oscar winner released in his apology statement. There is no question that Spacey is one of the best actors this generation has seen, and no one is challenging his contributions to theater, but it is how the American Beauty star has conducted himself in his private life that is at issue.
Spacey’s fans knew he was a private, if not complicated person, but the extent to the secrets he’s kept hidden from audiences is apparently about to be revealed.
Spacey sent shockwaves through social media when he didn’t challenge or deny allegations he sexually harassed and intimidated a then 14-year-old Anthony Rapp, but immediately apologized and then came out as a gay man.

The announcement was ill-timed and angered many, including those who represent the LGBTQ community. Being accused of predatory behavior is not the best platform to come out as a gay man, and Spacey has not garnered the respect or support of the gay community with his announcement.
Instead, he has sent his fans and the gay community reeling in horror.

His willingness to readily apologize for the allegations while simultaneously denying them and blaming a black-out drunken state for his actions hasn’t gone over well either.
One line, in particular, has not gone over well with social media readers. Kevin Spacey stated, “I know that there are stories out there about me.”
Apparently, Kevin Spacey’s reputation precedes him and it’s not all glowing reports.
Statements made by others in the entertainment industry such as Rosie O’Donnell who quickly compared the A-lister to Harvey Weinstein has given many people pause.
If Spacey had committed a one-time, drunken infraction nearly 30 years ago and didn’t remember it, would Hollywood be so quick to turn on him?

Netflix immediately announced the end of what has been their groundbreaking series House of Cards, and Hollywood is quickly cutting ties with the actor, whom truth-be-told, should theoretically be considered innocent until proven guilty.
Is the fast pace that Hollywood is distancing themselves from Spacey in anticipation for the further fallout?
According to Rosie O’Donnell, Spacey’s predatory behavior was not only on par with Harvey Weinstein’s but another of Hollywood’s open secrets.
Rosie replied to Kevin Spacey’s apology statement and indicated that she hoped more people would come forward.
u don't remember the incident – 30 years ago? – fuck u kevin – like Harvey we all knew about u – I hope more men come forward @KevinSpacey
