Oh, the things we do for love. Sheree Whitfield’s storyline for the last season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” revolved around her romance with an inmate named Tyrone Gilliams. The business tycoon applied for early release and was denied — it could have been Sheree’s fault.
In March, Tyrone filed an appeal to be set free in 2018 instead of his original date in 2022. Although it’s recently been denied, Gilliams has filed new papers.
Court documents stated that he was denied on failure to provide new evidence, but there could have been one other reason according to a report from Reality Blurb.
Sheree is clearly willing to go to any length for her man including going to bat with Nene Leakes over his honor. It was apparent that the “RHOA” star was excited to see her potential husband be a free man soon, but she allegedly went too far when it came to contacting the judge handling Tyrone’s case.
The blog reports that she emailed and left multiple voicemails for Judge Deborah A Batts directly.
Tyrone received a letter that ordered him to stop trying to contact her (through Sheree). The documents stated: “It’s inappropriate for the court to receive ex parte communications directly from the Parties, or their family and friends.”
This comes after Tyrone was sentenced ten years in prison for a multi-million dollar fraud case.
Whitfield went through a tough time after her abusive relationship with her ex-husband and found love with Gilliams, who was her friend before he became her lover.
Last year, Sheree opened up about their relationship. She told People: “You know what, honestly, I’ve gotten to know this man on a much deeper level. Probably deeper than I’ve ever known anyone. We have nothing but time to talk and get to know each other. He’s a good guy and, you know, he supports me. I can talk to him about anything. He’s my best friend.”
Hopefully, this second appeal works for Tyrone because Whitfield said that she would NOT be waiting for him on the “RHOA” reunion.
