Shelly Duvall, a formally famous actress, seems to be in a bit of a rough spot right now. You may recognize her from the hit films starring Jack Nicholson, “The Shining,” as well as “Manna From Heaven.”
The problem she is currently facing is her mental illness. She has not been on film in almost ten years, and suddenly had an appearance on The Dr. Phil Show.
During the interview, she released some very odd information. First of all, she talked about the fact that she is mentally ill. However, at one point she mentioned that there are entities that are out there to hurt her. After this point, it only gets more bizarre.
There is one quote in particular that caught everyone off guard. At one point she said to Dr. Phil, “If I say I’m healthy, the first thing they’ll do is hurt me tonight,” but she was never really clear on who “they” are either.
Her physical condition turned some heads as well. She seemed to look like a shadow of her former self. She was wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt and looked extraordinarily paranoid.
Dr. Phil asked her if maybe her health has something to do with her changed appearance, and she said no. She claimed that someone came in and changed her overnight.
The final strange conversation revolved around Robin Williams. Dr. Phil was talking to her about them being on the set of “Popeye” together, and Duvall said she had a great time working with him.
Dr. Phil made a comment saying that he is sorry about his passing. Duvall insisted that Robin Williams isn’t dead, he is simply shape shifting. She even said that she has seen him on multiple occasions since his passing.
After the interview, Dr. Phil updated the audience and let them know that she is seeking help so that they can help resolve the numerous mental issues Shelly Duvall currently seems to be having. We certainly wish her the best.
