On today’s episode of The View, Sharon Osbourne updated fans on Simon Cowell’s health following his hospitalization last week. The man’s fellow X Factor UK judge assured everyone that he is ‘going to be Okay.’
As you may already know, Simon was rushed to the hospital on Friday morning after he fell down the stairs in his home.
One insider revealed shortly after that Cowell ‘was going down his stairs to get some hot milk because he wasn’t feeling well and was dizzy. As he was going back up the stairs, he fainted and fell backwards.’
Sharon decided to open up about the star’s health saying: ‘He is doing so much better. His partner, Lauren [Silverman], came down to [X Factor UK in Simon’s absence] on both nights. She was saying that he suffers from low blood pressure anyway,’ the woman shared, adding that the reason why he couldn’t return to the show right after his accident was his concussion.
In a previous interview, Simon admitted that he was scared he might have done some real damage but claimed he was ‘on the mend.’
He thanked the hospital staff for being so great and helpful and was grateful he didn’t hurt himself even more.
Cowell also stated that he is sure to be a lot more careful when it comes to his health from now on as he is a father and has a responsibility towards his child to be there for a long time.
