Selena Gomez is back on the scene after spending some time in a rehabilitation facility to cope with her depression and side effects of Lupus. It seems that the pop star is in a much better mood starting with her appearance on BBC Radio 1 on February 15.
The host, Nick Grimshaw, invited her to play a game where he starts a song that Selena’s featured on it and she has to finish the lyrics.
Grimshaw spun her record with ex-boyfriend Zedd titled “I Want You To Know.”
Gomez was supposed to finish “Honey it’s raining tonight/But storms always have an eye have an eye” which ends with “Tell me you’re covered tonight/Or tell me lies tell me lies lies.”
The 25-year-old awkwardly said: “Honey…it’s something with honey. Oh, Mylanta. Okay, I’m gonna pass.”
It wasn’t a diss to Zedd though, lyrics are jumbled up in every singer’s head at any given moment.
Also. Selena doesn’t remember the lyrics to her duet with Demi Lovato in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Princess Protection Program.”
When Nick tried to get her to complete the words to “One and the Same,” Gomez responded: “You’re joking? Please tell me you played this one for Demi. Because I know for a fact that she’d have me on this one. We don’t know that song! That was a song that Demi and I did when we were doing a movie, and I was 15. That was 10 years ago! Um…’I know we’re one and the same?’ Oh gosh, I’m sorry.”
This comes after Zedd opened up last year about how hard it was to date Selena Gomez.
The musician new that she was a megastar; however, he didn’t expect for the short-lived romance to affect him so much.
He told Billboard: “Reporters were calling my parents. People were hacking my friends’ phones. I was pissed. [Though] I kind of knew what I was getting myself into.”
Zedd added that: “She is one of the most talked about people in the world, but I had no idea how much that would change my life.”
