Selena Gomez’s newest music is not coming anytime soon as expected. She is currently busy being in love with The Weeknd!
She barely has time to visit the studio. So, fans who were expecting some new music from her may have to wait a bit longer because she is now focusing more on spending time with her boyfriend, Abel Tesfaye.
His tour starts again soon and she won’t see him very often; therefore she is staying with him as much as possible at the moment. The two of them are feeling more and more comfortable in their relationship.
‘Selena is totally in love with The Weeknd and has made following her heart her number one priority,’ an insider confessed forHollywoodLife.com.
‘Selena has delayed the release of her new album so that she can spend more time loving and caring for Weeknd, who is gearing up to get back on the road.’
Selena’s last release was her Gucci Mane-assisted track, ‘Fetish.’
The song was released in July. ‘Selena only wants to spend time with Abel before she starts shooting her next film, so she has put creating more music on hold, as well as having to travel in support of a new album,’ the insider explained.
Selena and The Weeknd have been spending lots of time together the past few weeks, and on August 11 they were spotted watching a comedy show together at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood.
After a couple of days, he posted a pic of him and his girlfriend on Instagram Stories while they were cuddling cozily at home.
The two were recently spotted while they were sharing a warm embrace during a fun trip to Disneyland.
The next day, Selena was seen clasping her arms around Abel and kissing his shoulder as they were leaving a grocery store.
Abel just wrapped up phase one of his tour in support of ‘Starboy’ in July.
He just started the second phase of the tour on September 6 in University Park.
Selena is a bit bummed that he went away again, but she plans to keep things going great. Supported by Nav, and special guests Gucci Mane and French Montana on some dates, the extensive tour of The Weeknd is set to end on December 14 in Perth, Australia.
