Scott Baio has threatened to sue Alexander Polinsky, Nicole Eggert, and their attorney Lisa Bloom after they have come forward to allege the actor and director sexually, physically, and verbally abused them. Polinsky held a live press conference on February 14, 2018, where he made his allegations public.
Both Nicole Eggert and Alexander Polinsky filed police reports against Baio on February 6, 2018. Scott Baio has denied all wrongdoing and has reiterated that he is innocent multiple times. After Polinsky’s press conference, Baio spoke with TMZ and made his plans to sue his former co-stars and their lawyer known.
Brian Glicklich represents Scott Baio and Jennifer McGrath is his attorney. According to the TMZ report, Baio denies the allegations as well as all claims made during the press conference.
During the live press conference, Alexander Polinsky stated that he believed Scott Baio targeted him with mental, physical, and verbal abuse because he walked in on Baio sexually abusing Nicole Eggert when she was 14-years-old.
He also said that Baio targeted the young actor on a near-daily basis. Polinsky states he was 12-years-old when the abuse began and 15-years-old when it ended.

Scott Baio has said that Nicole Eggert has changed her story multiple times. He’s expressed confidence that because her story has changed he will be able to show proof that she is lying, not credible, and her word not trusted.
Nicole Eggert has countered that her story has changed, but only due to the shame she felt once she came to terms with the nature and extent of the relationship she had with Baio while working on the set of Charles in Charge.
Alexander Polinsky began tweeting about the abuse he allegedly suffered as a child and asked Scott Baio to reach out to him in December 2017.
The attempts to contact Baio proved futile and Nicole Eggert joined in trying to reach out to Baio. Scott Baio responded by having his legal team send Eggert and Baio cease and desist letters.
Baio also told Eggert and Polinsky to go to the police with their allegations. On Feb. 6, 2018, the two friends filed a police report against Baio.
What do you think about the allegations and Baio’s vow to sue for defamation?
(Charisse Van Horn and Alexander Polinsky personally follow each other on Twitter and have spoken to each other in the past, but not about the Scott Baio case. She has also tweeted in the past messages of support for Nicole Eggert to come forward and tell her story. She does her best to be fair and balanced and present all sides of the case. Scott Baio denies all allegations of child abuse against him.)
