Scott Baio has denied Nicole Eggert’s latest allegation against him which is that since she came forward with sexual abuse claims, he has been making harassing phone calls to her. Nicole made the allegations when she appeared on CBS’ The Talk on February 7, 2018, where she accused the Charles in Charge co-star and director of molesting her when she was young.
She also reiterated the claims to TMZ during an impromptu interview as they caught up with her when she was out and about Los Angeles. During both interviews, Eggert stated that her phone would ring but no one would say anything.
She said the police have been notified of the incidents. Though Nicole expressed fear regarding the phone calls, Scott Baio spoke out through a representative and stated he has changed his phone number and hasn’t attempted to call Nicole Eggert since she went forward with sexual abuse allegations on January 27, 2018.
Scott Baio states he is innocent of the allegations made against him by both Nicole Eggert and her co-star and close friend Alexander Polinsky.
Representatives for Scott Baio spoke on his behalf to TMZ and said he hadn’t made any harassing phone calls. They also described a scenario that sounded as if Scott Baio’s phone number may have been spoofed.
According to the reps, Scott Baio was planning on filing a police report himself, to show that someone had spoofed his phone number.

According to the TMZ report, Scott Baio himself had received crank calls that appeared to be coming from his own telephone number. Though the representative didn’t get into specifics, they also said that after several of the strange phone calls, someone contacted Baio with some sort of demand.
The report goes on to say that Baio’s team will be taking the situation to the police.
Nicole Eggert seems adamant that she believes Scott Baio has been making harassing phone calls to her, but in light of this report, some are wondering if Scott’s phone number has been spoofed.
Though things have become quite tense between Nicole Eggert’s and Scott Baio’s supporters, the actress has stated that what she wants most of all is for Scott Baio to come clean and apologize to her. As Baio continues to maintain his innocence, it seems an apology isn’t likely.
What do you think? Do you believe that Scott Baio has been making harassing phone calls to Nicole Eggert or do you think his phone number was spoofed?
