While Sarah Jessica Parker is still waiting to clap back at her former Sex and the City co-star and enemy Kim Cattrall, her celeb friends are not! After the nasty feud exploded, a lot of SJP’s close pals were quick to address Kim’s unwarranted attack.
One insider even said that we should ‘Expect Sarah to rally the troops and they’ll fight her battles for her.’
That is exactly what happened, and one of the first few to stand up for Parker was none other than Andy Cohen.
‘Andy’s Sarah’s attack dog. He has a big mouth and his own TV show to defend his friend,’ the same source explained.
That being said, ‘Cohen, Kelly Ripa and Anderson Cooper are team Sarah and are happy to support her in public.’
Another one we hear is on Parker’s side is Bethenny Frankel as she has been wanting for a long time to join ‘the SJP group. This could be her moment to finally be granted membership.’
But while all of her friends are firing back at Kim, Sarah is keeping quiet for now.
‘Sarah’s super aware of what is being said about her in the press, and she’s a long memory of those who protect and those who attack her. A lot of people have made money out of Sarah and Sex and the City. Now it is payback time.’
The former co-stars have been feuding for years.
Cattrall has claimed in the past that she was treated horribly by Parker while filming the popular TV series.
But things really exploded recently after Cattrall’s brother suddenly passed away, and SJP sent her her condolences on social media.
‘Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and your and Godspeed to your beloved brother,’ Parker tweeted.
‘I do not need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker. My mom asked me ‘When will that @sarahjessicaparker, the hypocrite, leave you alone?’ Your reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I have not already) You’re not my family. You’re not my friend. So I am writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona,’ Cattrall replied.
