As you can only imagine, Sarah Jessica Parker is not at all happy about her former Sex and the City co-star Kim Cattrall’s shade on social media. Apparently, the actress was shocked and heartbroken that she reacted in such a way to her condolences.
Earlier today Kim took to Instagram to slam SJP’s comforting message following the passing of her brother, claiming that not only did she not need anything from her but that they were not friends.
One insider has told us how the woman reacted to the unexpected bashing.
My Mom asked me today “When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?” Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona. ‘Sarah was shocked beyond belief by what she believes was an unwarranted attack on her by Kim. At first, Sarah put it to the emotional overload Kim must be feeling after her brother’s death—but then Kim followed up with the comment supposedly from her mom, in addition to posting a link to the ‘mean girls’ article—and it was like a slap in the face,’ our source explained.
Things are getting seriously ugly between the two women.
Sarah has not publicly responded to Kim’s harsh attack herself.
We know that the feud between the two actresses has been going on for years.
Despite rumors that they have tried to reconcile multiple times, it never worked out.
‘Over the years Sarah’s tried to mend bridges with Kim over and over again, but she has always been shot down.’
But ‘As soon as Sarah heard about Kim’s loss she reached out, she knew how heartbroken she’d be by Chris’ death, and she genuinely wanted to offer her words of comfort and support. Sarah’s horrified that Kim’s twisted her good intentions into bad, and is attempting to paint her as some kind of monster.’
What do you think about the women’s feud at this time of mourning?
