Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford star in the new trailer for the upcoming sci fi flick ‘Blade Runner 2049.’
The film is the long-awaited sequel to Ridley Scott’s 1982 hit. The movies are adapted from Philip K. Dick’s novel ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.’
The first trailer for the film shows Gosling as a new replicant hunting the aging Ford.
“I had your job once. I was good at it,” Ford says before emerging from the dark with a gun pointed at Gosling.
“Things were simpler back then,” Gosling replies.
Ford’s character only appears in the last third of the movie, with Gosling playing the lead.
“It’s like three movies that I usually make in one,” Gosling recently told GQ. “Just in terms of the length and just the whole scope and experience. I’ve never done something so shrouded in secrecy or where there’s so much anticipation.”
The film also stars ‘House of Cards’ star Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Jared Leto, Barkhad Abdi, Lennie James, Mackenzie Davis, and Sylvia Hoeks.
The film will be directed by Canadian Denis Villeneuver, the man behind the criticaly accliamed sci fi flick Arrival.

Lets hope the new Blade Runner can be as ground breaking as the original.
