Someone with experience in fashion has noticed something very interesting about Meghan Markle’s wedding gown! One designer believes the custom-made dress is not as unique as everyone else thought.
But that’s not all! Emilia Wickstead is already linked to the royal family by the fact that she is one of the go-to designers of Kate Middleton!
Wickstead suggested that the dress Meghan wore on her wedding day is identical to one from her own collection.
‘Her dress is identical to one of our dresses. Apparently, a lot of commentators were saying, ‘It’s an Emilia Wickstead dress,’’ she told Daily Mail.
As you probably know by now, the dress the new royal wore last weekend was custom-made by Clare Waight Keller, Givenchy’s creative director.
In addition to pointing out how similar the two dresses were, Emilia also had a few things to critique.
‘If you choose a simple design the fit should be perfect. Her wedding dress was quite loose,’ the designer reportedly told Daily Mail.

But the fit of the gown was not the only problem in her opinion – the hairstyle was not the best either from her point of view.
‘I was like, ‘Hold the wisps [of her hair] back — it is a Royal Wedding for God’s sake.’’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle walked down the aisle on May 19 in a ceremony held at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Close friends and family were all in attendance, with the exception of Meghan’s father who had to skip it due to health problems.
That being said, Harry’s dad, Prince Charles took on the role and walked the bride down the aisle instead.
What do you think about the designer’s observations and criticism? Do you agree?
