Roseanne Barr is out here looking for people to help point out the hypocrisy of Hollywood and celebrities. As the world knows, Roseanne lost her TV show last month after she tweeted that Valerie Jarett was a mixture of Planet Of The Apes and the Muslim Brotherhood.
And just one month later, Mike Cernovich, who is known for being a social media provocateur and journalist, unearthed controversial tweets from James Gunn where he makes a number of different pedophilia-related jokes.
After the tweets began trending online, Disney announced that Gunn would no longer serve as the director for the next installment of the Guardians Of The Galaxy movie.
According to Barr, Gunn’s situation is a lot like hers, because she also made controversial tweets, and she also lost her show.
The controversial Roseanne alum claimed she was “disgusted to read all of the support for James Gunn” and his pedophile jokes, especially since these are the same people who blacklisted her from Hollywood.
As it was previously reported, Roseanne Barr explained her Valerie Jarett tweets in a couple of different ways. She stated that Ambien had something to do with it, and also claims to have not known Valerie was black.
On Monday, Barr said that Gunn defended ABC’s choice to fire her. During a chat with Rabbi Shmuley, Roseanne said, “he was one of them, but then it came back around because what goes around comes around.”
The Disney director has, thus far, received a lot of support from Hollywood celebrities, in particular, the cast of the Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise, including Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, and Zoe Saldana.
In a statement, Gunn said that he started his career out by making controversial tweets and messages about inflammatory topics, but he doesn’t do that sort of thing anymore.
