Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro did not return to Seaside Heights with the rest of the cast for a visit to their old stomping grounds, and insiders say his absence is due to his recent alleged physical altercation with his baby momma, Jen Harley. Will he eventually return to finish filming season two of the hit reality series?
“Ronnie is in Vegas with his daughter. His family flew out there to be with him,” says an insider. “Ronnie stayed back. He’s recovering from his injuries. He was hurt pretty badly and needs the time to heal.”
According to Life & Style, police arrested Harley on domestic battery charges on June 24th after she allegedly dragged Ortiz-Magro with her car after a fight. The couple and their three-month-old daughter Ariana were heading home from a barbecue when Harley allegedly hit Ortiz-Magro in the face while she was driving the car.

He then asked her to pull the car over, so he could get out, then she drove off and dragged him with the car. After her arrest, the court set her bail at $3,000, and police released her later that day.
Harley claims she did not start the fight, and she says Ortiz-Magro hit her multiple times. But, cops didn’t buy it and arrested her as the aggressor. Photos of the vehicle show the situation got pretty bloody, and according to the police report, both Harley and Ortiz-Magro sustained injuries.
Tensions between her and Ortiz-Magro have escalated in recent months since their daughter arrived and he returned to Vegas. Sin City was the original location for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’s second season, but the cast and crew left town and headed back to Jersey not long after Ortiz-Magro and Harley got into another altercation last month at Planet Hollywood.

We don’t know if the drama between them will play out on screen next season, but we do know that Ortiz-Magro will not be a part of their trip to Seaside Heights.
Since the car dragging incident, Ortiz-Magro’s 3-month-old daughter has been staying with him, and insiders say he will be pursuing 50/50 joint custody. Currently, the couple has no formal custody agreement. But, now the Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is considering hiring a family attorney, so he and Harley can put together something in writing.
Season two of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation will premiere on MTV in August.
