UFC fighter Ronda Rousey has had a rough couple of weeks. She hasn’t been pictured since her abysmal loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207, somewhat of a throwback to the aftermath of her loss to Holly Holmes. The latest in her run of bad luck is that her Venice, California home has been vandalized. The first photos of the former champion have emerged since the report.
Rousey’s home was defaced on Monday Evening with indecipherable black graffiti. The photos of the former champ since the report broke, shows her looking stressed, probably as a result of the defacement, Rousey on her deck in a Reebok sleeveless shirt looking a little disheveled. However, the bruises she suffered from her loss to Nunes have faded.
The graffiti is indecipherable and doesn’t appear to address Rousey’s loss. However, it certainly adds to the former bantamweight champion’s headache. This was the last thing she needed after suffering back-to-back losses for the first time in her MMA career. There are no suspects yet.
It is still unconfirmed if Rousey will return to the ring, with somewhat differing reports coming from her camp. Many have called for her retirement after her 48-second defeat at UFC 207, including her own mother. Her mom stated after the match that she had wanted her daughter to retire for some time.
Since her latest defeat to Nunes, she has received a tirade of abuse on social media, including from Nunes herself. The bantamweight champion posted a photoshopped image of herself holding the belt while pushing a pram with baby Rousey in it.
Rousey can’t seem to catch a break. In her pomp, she claimed that she could beat anyone in her division with one arm tied behind her back. We have to wait and see what comes next!
