Ronda Rousey came out of hiding for a surprise purchase. She was spotted at a gun store in Las Vegas, where we learned she applied for a concealed weapon permit.
It is the first time she has appeared publicly since her loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 last year.
The UFC star who has been hiding since her loss back in December 2016 hit up the popular Range 702 gun store on Sunday accompanied by her boyfriend, Travis Browne. We were told by some of the gun enthusiasts who were present that Ronda took a course required to get a concealed weapon permit.
Once she applies for the permit, it will take around 90 days before she gets it in her mail.
We were also told that Ronda practiced her shooting at the range – an exercise that is also required as part of the test. She used a blue Glock 43 9mm pistol.
We don’t know the exact reason why she has applied for a conceal carry permit, but we can speculate that its for safety reasons. The former bantamweight champion’s house was vandalized with black graffiti recently, so the gun permit could be to prevent incidents like that from occurring in the future.
Ronda has been silent about her career, saying that she was going to take some time out to think about it. Her silence has caused a storm of speculation.
Some people have said she might move to the WWE, while others think she might go into full-time acting. The majority, however, want to see her back in the ring.
Mayweather recently stated that he would be willing to coach her, while fellow UFC stars have come out to say that she should definitely return to the squared circle. What do you think she’ll do?
