It’s the end of the popular series, House Of Cards, as Robin Wright posted a shot on Instagram on Friday of Claire Underwood’s hands covered in blood. The Hollywood actress wrote in the caption, “we just finished filming the final season of house of cards.”
“Working with our cast and crew has been an absolute joy….thank you Netflix and MRC for all of your support through the years!” As it was previously reported, Kevin Spacey lost his job for the streaming platform following the sexual assault allegations against him.
And the sixth season will be the first without Kevin because Netflix ditched the actor after many people in the industry accused him of being abusive as well as a sexual predator. Others even claimed he was a pedophile.
Robin took over as the lead of the season after Kevin had to apologize and disappeared from the spotlight for forever. Spacey and his representatives denied all of the charges outright.
At the time of the prolific scandal, Kevin and his team released a statement saying that he was taking the time to recuperate and seek evaluation and treatment for his wrongdoings. However, at that point, his reputation was tarnished beyond the point of repair.
He then entered a sexual rehabilitation facility in Arizona in November, the same center where Harvey Weinstein went. Last year, the accusations against Kevin Spacey were equally as controversial as the ones against Harvey Weinstein – who just went through indictment and arraignment last week.
Anthony Rapp was the first actor to accuse Kevin Spacey of supposedly trying to seduce him when he was a 14-year-old boy at a party one night after a play they worked on together.
And for years, other people in the industry including Seth MacFarlane made jokes at Kevin’s expense, with one, in particular, insinuating that Kevin was guilty of victimizing children.
